One such principle requires paper-packaging companies to demonstrate that they source wood in a manner that doesn't harm the forest from which it came. Another standard demands companies to show that they do not cause significant harm to animal life during the wood-harvesting process.
Lastic uses FSC paper to package individual straws and 4-in-1 take-out utensil sets. The thin FSC paper will biodegrade in a few months.
