To all our USA-based fans, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Happy end of November to those in all other places in the world!

Time flies. We're astounded that today's issue of The Bamboo Press is number 30. And you know what that means—review time!

We've published heaps of Lastic-rich content since our last Compostable Compendium. We even dedicated two long-form blogs to Lastic-related topics:

1. Our September-long form blog covered the topic of exclusivity rights for Lastic Bamboo Resin and Lastic products.

2. In October, we delved into the deceiving tactics some straw producers use to make their products appear eco-friendly. We concluded with a list of actions consumers should take to determine whether a straw is genuinely eco-friendly and compostable.

Following up on clients' questions and comments, we delved into industrial composting. The complexities involved with industrial composting led us to write a two-part series explaining the types of industrial composting and some of its disadvantages.

Speaking of disadvantages, let's talk about their opposites: advantages. Lastic Bamboo Resin and Lastic products have many advantages. Some of them come in the form of certifications. For example, Lastic only uses certified FSC Paper, which we discussed in early October, as wrapping for individual straws. We also spoke about the AS5810 certification, or the home and garden compostable earthworm test, that Lastic recently received. Biodegradable products with this certification are deemed safe to the soil-eating creatures that these products become: earthworms.

And we're saving the best for last. After enduring months of trial and error in the testing department and entertaining dozens of client requests, Lastic has produced yet another game-changer: a high-quality, biodegradable lid, durable enough to withstand temperatures over 100°C. Lastic is completely changing the biodegradable products game.

To become a part of that game, send us a message and subscribe to our bi-weekly newsletter! We'll catch you all next week.
