Island Leaf Commodities is a licensed distributor of Lastic® Bamboo Resin — a 100% biodegradable and compostable plastic alternative, proudly developed and manufactured in Taiwan.

Formulated from a proprietary blend of bio-based polybutylene succinate (PBS), bamboo fiber, and starch, Lastic Resin is produced using trade-secret compounding methods to ensure durability, processability, and end-of-life performance.

It is available in five grades, optimized for extrusion and injection molding applications.

Island Leaf also distributes a growing line of Lastic end products, including, but not limited to:

Lastic® Bamboo Resin holds DIN certification for both industrial and home/garden composting, and meets the AS 5810 standard for home compostability — ensuring that products break down safely and completely in real-world, non-industrial conditions.
